DIY Autumn Air Freshener

by - September 29, 2021

Autumn has always been one of my fav seasons, and what better way of enjoying it than by making a scented fall room spray. Air fresheners used to be my go-to but I stopped buying them once I found out that they contain hazardous chemicals. Besides, making your own is fairly inexpensive, you only a few ingredients, and it takes less than 5 minutes to make. What I love the most about this DIY is that I can bring the fall aroma into my home at any giving time of the day and the fact that I can enjoy the scent year-round. Find out how easy it is to make your own natural air freshener down below.

  • Vodka or Witch Hazel 1/2 cup
  • Essential Oils of Choice
  • Distilled Water 1 cup (You can use tap water, but distilled water will last longer)

  • Cinnamon 10 Drops
  • Orange 10 Drops
  • Nutmeg 5 Drops
  • Rosemary 5 Drops

1.) In a glass spray bottle, add 1 cup of distilled water, vodka/witch hazel, and the essential oils.
2.) Shake the bottle well to combine all of the ingredients.

* Always shake the room spray before using it*
