DIY Galaxy Coasters

by - January 18, 2020

Happy Saturday everyone, today I wanted to share with you guys how easy it is to make your own galaxy coasters for less than 10 dollars. For a while now, I've been struggling to find a nice set of coasters that are affordable and cute. After watching several tutorials online I went to my local craft store and gathered all of the supplies I needed for this project, so without further ado, let's get started.

SUPPLIES USED:

  • Coasters
  • Printed Design of Choice
  • Mod Podge
  • Ruler
  • Pencil
  • Sponge Brush
  • White Paint
  • Paint Brush
  • Exacto Knife

INSTRUCTIONS:

1.) Grab one of the coasters to trace its shape onto the printout.

2.) Cut the pattern out using an Exacto knife. A pair of scissors will work fine as well.

3.) Next, paint the edges of the coasters using any color paint you'd like and set it aside to dry.

4.) Apply an even layer of mod podge to your coaster.

5.) Carefully put the cutout on top. Smoothing out the edges as you go to prevent air bubbles.

6.) Go over the entire coaster with another layer of mod podge and set it aside to dry.

 You are all finished!

That's it guys, I hope you enjoyed this tutorial, and if you did, please don't forget to share. Until next time xoxo...
