My new obsession lately has been beaded rings! I purchased some of my favorite rings in a local shop in Mexico this summer. I love anything handmade, so when I saw them, I bought them immediately. These beautiful rings are what inspired today's post. If you like making your own jewelry, you'll love how easy today's project is. You can make these rings in a variety of colors, patterns, and different-sized beads. If you want to learn how I made these stylish rings in under 15 minutes, follow my step-by-step guide below...

MATERIALS NEEDED:

  • Beads
  • Stretchy String
  • Scissors
  • Adhesive of choice

DIRECTIONS:

1.) Cut a piece of elastic slightly longer than the circumference of your finger.

2.) Put the beads of choice into a container to make the beads more accessible. (Consider using a pattern or different-sized beads to create your design.)

3.) Thread all of the beads on the elastic.

4.) Grab the ends and tie them into a double knot.

5.) (Optional) For extra hold, place a drop of superglue over the knot.

6.) Cut off the excess elastic.

ALL DONE!

Let me know which design was your favorite. 💜

Tassel earrings are so much fun to wear, I made my first pair a couple of months ago, they turned out so cute I just had to make more. Tassel earrings look great with literally any outfit you wear, because they're so versatile, you can rock them dressed up, formal, or casual. I'm definitely going to try to make them in several colors to wear them year-round.

MATERIALS NEEDED:
  • Embroidery thread
  • Gold Hoops
  • Earring Hooks

DIRECTIONS:

1.) Cut the top and bottom of the embroidery thread.

2.) Separate the embroidery thread into 5 equal sections.
3.) Take one of the equal strands, attach it to the hoop using the lark's head knot method, and secure the knot tightly.

4.)Continue to do this until the bottom half of the hoop is completely covered in thread.

5.) Repeat the same steps to the other hook.

6.)To assemble the earrings, attach the earring hooks to the ring.

7.) Trim the ends of the tassels to the desired length, comb the ends, and you're done!

(OPTIONAL) Add a dap of glue to the back of the tassel earrings to prevent the knots from getting loose.

Last year a good friend of mine gifted me a pair of tassel earrings for Christmas, and ever since, I've been rocking them like crazy. Even though I love wearing them, I thought it would be nice to switch it up a bit and make myself a new pair to wear. To my surprise, making tassel earrings was really simple to do, and today, I'm going to show you exactly how I did it.

MATERIALS NEEDS:

  • Old pair of hoop earrings
  • Embroidery thread (optional 2 different colors)
  • Scissors

DIRECTIONS:

1.) Cut the top and bottom of the embroidery thread.

2.) Separate the embroidery thread into 2 strings per section.

(One embroidery thread should give you 24 strands.)

3.) Take one of the equal strings and attach it to the hoop earring using the larks head knot method.

4.) Secure the knot tightly.

5.) If you're using 2 different colored threads (like me,) add 6 sections in the center of the hoop earring with the lighter thread and add 6 more sections of the darker thread on both sides.

6.) Repeat the same step for the other earring.

7.) Trim the tassels to the desired length, comb the ends of the threads, and you are all finished!

*PRO TIP* Add a dap of glue to the back of the tassel earrings to prevent the knots from getting loose.
